What to display (content), where to display (position) and how to display (style) each of the 10 Display Widget blocks.
Display Widget Content
Display widget #1-10
Ten blocks to display
Display Widget allows you to display up to 10 blocks linked to the product, both in Product Card, the display used in the product listings, and in Product View, the product page.
The following settings define where, when, what and how these blocks will be displayed.
Position
Type:
Select
Default value:
Off
Defines the location of the block, the Off option turns off the display widget, the other options select one of the 6 positions in the image or the 4 in the product detail area.
Price row 2 is only displayed on the product page, this is the required location when you want to display a block only on the product page.
Place widget slightly outside its normal position
Type:
Checkbox
Default value:
Off
This option causes the block to be displayed offset from the normal position. It is mainly intended for positions above the image, but it is possible to achieve striking effects in other positions as well, for example, End of the name.
When activated in Display Widget blocks located above the image, 3% of the image size is shifted outwards, if in the corners, in both directions.
For example, a block placed in Top Left on an image 400px wide by 500px high, will run 12px to the left and 15px up from the top left corner of the image.
ToDo: Set examples that Metro used.
ToDo: Put examples of Product detail when the Below name is fixed
ToDo: See if it justifies explaining how to match a fold to the edge of the image.
Style
Type:
Select
Allows you to assign one of the 5 display styles that can be defined in Display Widgets.
See Didplay Widget - Styles for more information on how to define a style in Display Widget.
Content
Type:
Text
This field defines what the Display Widget will show for the block in question. The content entered in this field, after evaluating the tokens, will be what will ultimately be displayed.
It can refer to a static content such as "Price online only" or to a dynamic content such as "Now {sale_price}" (see. DIsplay Widget - Tokens).
Content is divided into 3 areas: Previous area, Main area and Next area. Depending on the format of the display widget will be the location of the area(see Display Widget shapes). Main area is the main area of the widget, it uses larger font size and is the area used to decide if a block is displayed or not (see When a block is displayed and when not?).
To differentiate the content that goes in each area the characters "<"y ">" are used. Whatever appears before "<" irá en la Previous area, lo que venga luego de ">" will go in Next area.
For example, the following display has as content"Online only<{sale_price}>Was: {price_was}"
Show this DW only when the first product image is being displayed
Type:
Checkbox
Default value:
Off
By selecting this option, this display widget will only be shown when the first image of the product is being displayed.
This is useful in cases where the products may have images with information, for example, diagrams, plans, tables, and when displaying the block it may cover part of the image or generate a confusing visualization.
